Hi Daniel; I've just come across your blog and have enjoyed reading, thank you. My husband and I are in the beginning stages of preparing to do the same as you and your wife. Your boat looks great and has given I have a few questions, if you don't mind my asking; 1) How did you decide between a catamaran or a mono haul or was this not even a consideration? 2) Why are you done cruising? Thank you.
We really enjoyed reading you blog. We have the same boat and are preparing for a similar journey. If you're still monitoring this blog, I would like to ask a couple of questions. 1. What was your battery bank and was it sufficient? 2. How often did you use the enclosure that you made for the cockpit? Worth making one?
